Starmyri Appaloosas has spent a lot of time gathering a herd of high quality mares. We have five that qualify for F4, three for F3 and three for F2 status - very deeply bred Appaloosa to Appaloosa genetics. Most of these mares either perform the "INDIAN SHUFFLE" or may carry the genetics necessary to produce gaited offspring. We are endeavouring to produce high quality foals that have every desirable trait possible; great conformation and superior dispositions all contained within a beautiful appaloosa spotted coat. We firmly believe that it is NOT necessary to give up a certain trait in order to gain another, all qualities must be there to be acceptable. It is very achievable to have it all wrapped up in a stunningly beautiful package!

"Record books didn't hold all the answers. In the end, no matter how astonishing their numbers, great horses were remembered for something more than numbers: It was a feeling they gave you, a belief in something bigger than yourself. They were a reminder, if only for an instant, that some bright, wordless magic still existed in the world."-- Jane Schwartz, Ruffian: Burning from the Start
